founded Skyline Properties in 1988 in Bellevue, Washington. His vision was an office that was designed to help agents do their job and focus on their clients, and not waste their time in the useless trappings required by traditional real estate offices.

Ronald Henning revolutionized the concept of a real estate office when he Skyline offices are free and open, welcoming all ethical marketing styles. It did not require its agents to attend unproductive office meetings or tedious office listing tours leaving more time for agents to focus on their business and their clients. Skyline offers quality support, updated equipment and functional facilities at low fees so agents are able to keep more of their hard-earned commission.

Today, with over 1,400 agents, Skyline is the largest independent real estate company in WashingtonState. Skyline Properties soon plans to open its Puyallup office which will bring the total number of offices in the Puget Sound Area to five. Skyline has the largest real estate office in each of the four areas currently serviced; Seattle, Bellevue, SnohomishCounty and SouthKingCounty.

Our program makes sense for seasoned, experienced agents and new agents desiring flexibility. The concept has caught on and as the years have gone by, and Skyline has opened offices in Seattle, Kent and Everett to complement the Bellevue operation.

Mr. Hennig brought his father’s family values to Skyline honoring the rights and needs of his agents and their clients while respecting the agents and clients of other companies.   Ron’s father was a land developer and a real estate brokerage owner in Woodinville many years ago.  Mr. Hennig would often quote his father, “You are sunk in this business if nobody wants to work with you. Do it right or don’t bother.”

            The philosophy Mr. Hennig worked by is reflected in his favorite quote he would repeat frequently to his agents, “Remember who you work for not what you work for. It’s not the commission, it’s the people.  If you take care of your clients, the commissions will take care of themselves, not with this deal but your next and future sales.”

Embracing all with interest in real estate, Skyline has developed a truly international flavor.  Skyline has become a great American melting pot with common and not so common foreign languages often over heard in the office. Languages spoken by Skyline agents include, Vietnamese, Chinese, French, Spanish, Korean and Russian to name a few.
